Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

Drive from Moshi or Arusha to Marangu Gate for registration. Begin trekking through dense rainforest with opportunities to spot monkeys and birdlife. The trail gradually climbs to Mandara Hut where you enjoy dinner and overnight stay.
